I was drawn to STRIVE as a result of the support they offer from the beginning to the end of the vacation scheme and application process. Other programmes I saw offered support on certain areas of the application process. STRIVE had the most comprehensive programme. The applications session at the beginning of the year has been the biggest help to me. I started this programme having no idea how to write an application and now I am confident in my abilities to complete applications. The support from my mentor has also been a huge benefit and without her guidance I don’t think I would have had any successful applications.
