I have really enjoyed being part of the STRIVE community this application cycle as it’s such a greatly supportive community, filled with mentors and mentees that want to see you succeed. It’s lovely to be surrounded by like-minded people and those who strive in the face of adversity. My mentor has been incredibly supportive and we interact quite frequently throughout each week to check in on each other and keep them updated on my applications and progress. I have found our friendship extremely beneficial not only in progressing with applications but also helping my mental wellbeing to have a supportive and genuine network, as a result of participating in the STRIVE supernova programme. I encourage all aspiring solicitors to join the programme to gain further insight and opportunity into the legal profession from those who go above and beyond to help with your future legal career!
